Neil Patel was born in Wales to Indian and English parents. He studied architecture at Yale College and scenography at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and has applied his passion for travel, design, and storytelling to distinguished work in Film, Television, Commercials, Theater, Opera, and Dance. Recent credits include Dickinson (Apple TV+), The Path (Hulu), Little Boxes (Netflix), Dil Dhadakne Do (Excel Entertainment), Some Velvet Morning (Tribeca Films), the Peabody Award winning In Treatment (HBO), Time and the Conways (Broadway), Father Comes Home from the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3) (Royal Court London), Mughal E Azam (NCPA Mumbai and Delhi), Alcina (Washington National Opera), Norma (LA Opera), and Shadowland for Pilobolus throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Past Geffen Playhouse credits include The Lion; By the Way, Meet Vera Stark; The Break of Noon; and Dinner with Friends.
