Celebrating the City's Most Colorful Days at LA Pride 45 06.15.2015 All photos by Rebecca Haithcoat. No matter your race, ethnicity, gender, class or sexual preference, there’s no denying that Los Angeles is never so vibrant as when LA Pride paints it rainbow-colored. For one weekend every summer, LA Pride celebrates the TLGB community by transforming West Hollywood into a carnival, complete with a parade, costumes, public art installation and tons of fun activities for the big kids. Karen Gutierrez, Geffen’s Director of Advertising and Sponsorships, along with Nadya Zhuravleva and Zack Hamra, chatted with arts patrons at the Gelson’s Markets booth inside the festival and (hopefully!) boogied along as Magic Mike XXL star Channing Tatum danced on one of the parade’s most popular floats. Meanwhile, we trolled the streets of WeHo in search of let-love-rule revelers who were willing to strike a pose for our camera. Turns out, LA Pride partiers are just like actors — not a single camera-shy one in sight!
